Pink Lemonade Margarita Waffles

I know... It's a mouthful to say, but these waffles were so easy to make especially with the margarita kick in it!! With only THREE ingredients, even the worst cook can make these waffles hit ::finger snaps::

These are NON alcoholic waffles so the kiddies can enjoy it too! Although the waffle is quite colorful it is all the same flavor. You know I always do the most when it comes to food. I took half the batch and colored it with red coloring.

To 'infuse' the batter I used 1 cup of LIGHT Jose Cuervo margarita mix. The light version is 0 calorie, fat, and sugar. Oh yea and guess what we didn't use any oil to make these either!

Here's how I made them!

Conscious Kitchen

I'd heard a decent amount of chatter about Conscious Kitchen, located in Clifton, but truth be told I had no ideas where it was. Not until my friend Princess and fellow blogger (check her blog out btw www.personal-bravery.com) decided to go on a whim. Funny thing with us, we also seem to eat somewhere on a whim lol. Any who we went and blown away doesn't really describe what I felt ... Or tasted!

Of course I gandered over the menu, I wanted everything on it! Literally. Everything. Due to my indecisive nature I chose the first thing Princess said was good and did not deter. Otherwise, we would have been there for 3 days.

I ordered the Cuban. It's really hard to explain the amount of deliscousness that took place on my first bite! This sandwich was HEAVENNNNN, I almost don't even want to order anything else! The carrot fries on the side were also very tasty, not soggy, not too sweet like sweet potaoe fries either. Although not pictured you HAVE to try the aquatic rolls. They are essentially egg rolls stuff with salmon and this awesome glaze. It comes with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce that I actually dip my fries in!

My friend Princess got the salad!

Lastly, before you leave the place you must get a sample of their carrot pie, it's like sweet potatoe pie. Sweet, rich, creamy, but made with carrots. It was so good I got a whole pie for my dad's birthday!

Make sure to check our Conscious Kitchen today! Their address is:

Stay hungry my friends...

Healthy Fish Tacos!

Healthy Fish Tacos!!

Cincinnati News, FOX19-WXIX TV

This meal is not only easy on the pockets, it's also easy on time! It can easily be made in 30 minutes AND will impress all the homies ( or in-laws)! If you want to fire the grill up you can get fancy and actually grill your fish as well as your pineapple prior to cutting it up for the salsa. I can only imagine how great it would taste with the smokey flavor!!

Honestly, I love Bibb/Boston lettuce it will be hard to ever use any other lettuce for bun-less dishes I make (i.e. turkey burgers)! I typically buy whats called 'living' lettuce, the roots are still attached for this. Living lettuce is able to literally live longer since the roots are still attached thus making it much for functional for other dishes throughout the week! Whole Foods offers a hydroponic version for $2.99, but I bought mine from Meijer's for $1.99!

Here's how to make some these easy and healthy fish tacos!!

There are some good Pre-Workouts left in the world!

** Disclaimer... I am NOT a six pack having, keto counting, bulky kinda girl, which is why this is perfect for me lol***

A few weeks ago I attended this great event put on by Cincy Chic, it was the Baseball and Baubles event, while there I won an awesome gift bag with a super cool shaker bottle and a few AdvoCare products I’d  never tried before. The product I was most interested in was the Spark energy pack!! Typically I don’t take anything before I work out and I’ll admit I pay for it, I mean for real it takes a good 15 minutes to get my head in the game lol. Also, in the past I’d taken a pre-workout supplement and it was TURRIBLE (in my Charles Barkley voice), not just taste but the way it affected my body. I seriously thought I was having a heart attack, I can honestly say I was scared! A few of the symptoms included severe dizziness, rapid heart rate, confusion, and crazy nauseous.

(Pre-workout, hair on fleek, still cute)

Spark was completely different! I purposely chose to take it on a day when I was tired as hell and didn’t feel like working out, basically I set my self for a potential work out fail! I poured the whole packed in a regular 16.9 FL oz. water bottle shook it and drank some prior to my workout, about 15 minutes ahead. First thing I noticed was it actually tasted good, I’m huge on “if it doesn’t taste good, don’t eat it!”
