The brunch was awesome, we got to try out all their new brunch menu items. I'm going to be honest with you... there were a few dishes that completely blew me out of the water.
Brick Oven Brioche French Toast
Fam. . . This was hands down the BEST dish of the day, like we ordered 2 more servings of this dish because that's how good it was. I have to completely be honest with you, this dish is ALL I need in my life. The maple syrup was infused with blueberry then pecans were smoked with whiskey and cooked with brown sugar. If you ever need to get your life together in the form a warm, gooey, sweet, take a nap as soon as your finished dish? Go with the Brick Oven Brioche French Toast!
Smoked Salmon Flatbread
Lets talk about something super light, savory, refreshing, salty, crunchy, and under 500 calories. To be honest I pretty much just summed everything up in that last sentence. Let's just say the cold Kendall Brook salmon paired with the capers, and horseradish crema set it all off!
Vegetable Frittata
This was the only veggie option on the menu, but not one of my friends even noticed, that's how good it was. The asparagus on the side was cooked to perfection! I don't really like anything mushy (we've gone over this before) so having a fresh tasting and crunchy asparagus side made me super happy! No one likes a limp asparagus!
S52 Eggs Benedict
We're back at it with the Brioche bread that is topped with sautéed mushrooms and wilted spinach, then covered by a pasture raised poached egg, and generously smothered by a lovely smooth and creamy hollandaise sauce! This is also another great vegetarian option!
Shakshuka
Now let me tell you about my relationship with chorizo. It's pretty close to my love for pizza. Nothing is better than chorizo cooked in sweet peppers, tomatoes and, feta cheese!!
We totally can't wait until our next adventure Seasons52, if you haven't checked out their new menu for fall you need to do it right now! Like right now, I'd love to drop some menu gems but I don't want to spoil it for you!
